A Lifestyle of Listening

Preacher:
Passage: Deuteronomy 6:4-12
Service Type:

At the very core of Old Testament faith is Israel’s most basic and formative creed:  Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one.  The first word being “Hear.”  Then in the New Testament Jesus calls to His followers over and over:  “He who has ears, let him hear!”.  Obviously, listening is important for the people of God.  He has chosen to speak to us through various means.  Author, Michael Card discusses three key ways we can listen:  in the Word (Scripture), in prayer and in the parable of our own lives.  May we become a listening people.
