This is the 3rd in our “Jesus is…” series from the Gospel of John.  Jesus said, “I am the gate.”  There are many ways to enter a sheep pen.  One can use the gate, one can climb over the fence or wall, one can ??? (the options are many.)  So today there are many “gates” thru which we can walk that promise the good life while bringing anything but that.  Yes, we have deep yearnings within.  And may we find those met in Jesus, the gate to true life, the one who truly satisfies.
