Sermons for this spring will be a series “Received Righteousness” following the book of Romans.  In the earlier chapters of Romans Paul makes clear that righteousness is received rather than achieved.  It comes through faith in Jesus to all who believe.  Now in chapter 4 we see Abraham as an illustration of what living by faith may look like.  Today we are called to live out faith in God as Abraham did… even when it is difficult to follow and trust God above the realities of our circumstances.
