This Sunday is Pentecost when we recognize the coming of the 3^rd person of the Trinity.  Why do we celebrate the coming of the 2^nd person of the Trinity (Christmas) so much more than we celebrate Pentecost?  Both of these events were world changing...  Christmas, the birthday of Jesus and Pentecost, the birthday of the church.  This gift of the Spirit is not only for the church but also for the world.   Without the Spirit’s calling, convicting and proving power in the world we would have no church.
