From Galatians we can see the important role the Law does play in our life today.  Being saved by grace thru faith alone in Christ alone and not thru works of the Law we can question why did God even give the OT Law in the first place?  Put simply, the Law points us to Christ.  Thru the law we see our immense need of a Savior.
