We are continuing the series:  Revelation – Jesus, the Overcomer.  As this final and most intense cycle of God’s judgment on evil plays out it is described as “last.”  “I saw in heaven another great and marvelous sign: seven angels with the seven last plagues—last, because with them God’s wrath is completed.” Revelation 15:1.  It is God who lives forever, not His wrath.  And just as God’s Old Testament people sang a song of deliverance as they looked out over a newly calmed Red Sea, we will sing our song of deliverance when these judgment days are over.  “And I saw what looked like a sea of glass glowing with fire and, standing beside the sea, those who had been victorious over the beast and its image and over the number of its name. They held harps given them by God and sang the song of God’s servant Moses and of the Lamb.”  Revelation 15:2-3
