We are continuing our sermon series:  Hearing God through the Parables.  This Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard explains Jesus’ cryptic teaching:  So the last will be first and the first will be last.  In what kind of kingdom would this be true?  A kingdom that runs on God’s sovereign grace rather than on calculated wages.  Will God’s sovereign grace leave us bitter and envious (like the grumblers of v. 12) or shall we embrace this kingdom where God’s grace and freedom reign?
