We continue the sermon series on 1 and 2 Corinthians:  Returning to Faithfulness.  From Chapter 5 we see that Christian communities are called to have standards of conduct that are higher than those of our society at large.  Now here in chapter 6 we begin to have some particular ethical standards spelled out.  The Corinthian church too easily separated faith and ethics, spirit from body.  They were puffed up in their wise ways.  Paul bursts their bubble again by laying out some basic principles that guide their (and hopefully our) sexual ethics.  “Honor God with your body.”
