As we begin to look into the parables of Jesus our focus for this Sunday is the Parable of the Sower.  In it Jesus secretly proclaims His Kingdom will be ultimately victorious no matter what obstacles presently lie in its way.  All are invited to be a part as Kingdom seed is sown.  What is our response?  Some seed fell on the path and never germinated.  Some seed fell among the rocks, sprang up and faded away.  Some seed sprouted and grew but eventually those plants were choked out by thorns and weeds.  Some seed sprouted, grew and bore much fruit.  How are we hearing and receiving Jesus’ seed sown in us today?
