We are continuing our Faithful Stewardship series based on the Gospel of Luke.  We can’t live for Jesus without examining our basic motivations.  If we maintain the world’s value system we will find it most difficult to be faithful managers of what God has entrusted us with.  Having money, being well fed, feeling good and being popular are all good things, but we can’t live for or idolize those things.  We have a new master now in Jesus who said:  Blessed are the poor, the hungry, those who weep and those who are hated, excluded and rejected.
