“Unsurpassed – Savior and Lord” is our current sermon series which looks into the book of Hebrews.  Throughout we have been encouraged to persevere, to hold on to our confession and to Him who is faithful.  And how do we do this?  Chapter 11 gives us one answer… and probably the key answer.  Being people of faith, people looking ahead towards receiving what God has promised.  Like those who have walked in faith before us, the “cloud of witnesses” listed in this chapter, we will not receive our rewards in this life but they are sure to come.  Lord, increase our faith!
