We are beginning the advent sermon series, “On the road…”   Wherever we find ourselves “on the road” may we be moving closer to and with Jesus.  In Mark 13 Jesus and his disciples are in Jerusalem and the disciples are admiring the grand architecture and buildings of the Temple area.  Jesus tells them that not one stone here will be left upon another.  The Old Testament temple with its sacrifices, habits and rituals will be no more.  In this corona time we have also lost many habits and rituals.  How many of those is God leading us away from?  How many of those are part of the old age that is passing away?  May God give us discernment for these days, so we may be watching, waiting and ready for His return.
