This message will be the first of a series of five. The series title “Devote yourselves to prayer” is taken from Colossians 4:2. A first question can be: Why do we pray at all? Understanding fully why we pray can be elusive… especially if we wonder at times if our prayers ascend no higher than our ceilings. But prayer originates with God.   It is not so much saying the right words as having the right focus… seeing and aligning ourselves with God’s point of view. It is more about relationship than transactions or “getting answers”
