This Sunday we continue with the series:  James - The other sacrifice.  James is full of practical and pastoral challenges to the emerging New Testament church.  This particular passage sounds quite contemporary given the social divisions that our society continues to struggle with.  We know in our heads that God has no favorites when it comes to different types of people.  However, it remains a challenge to apply that same mercy filled view to our current relationships that cross today’s social boundaries.  Key Verse:  James 2:1  … as believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ, don't show favoritism.
