The resurrection of Jesus is one of the, and likely the most major, tenets of faith.  As important and earth shaking as it is, it is also personal. 

Jesus, spoke Mary’s name.  Jesus, showed his wounds to Thomas.  Jesus, questioned Peter on the lake shore.  All very personal exchanges. 

When we attend a loved one’s funeral…  when we wonder about our own are we not touched personally as well?
