“Unsurpassed – Savior and Lord” is our current sermon series which looks into the book of Hebrews.  Here in chapter 4 we are invited to enter into God’s rest.  This rest is not in heaven after we die but is for now.  As the Jews rested on the Sabbath, so we now rest on Jesus, our Sabbath, every day.  As Jesus said:  Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
