Our series “Received Righteousness” following the book of Romans continues.  In the earlier chapters of Romans Paul makes clear that righteousness is received rather than achieved.  It comes through faith in Jesus to all who believe.  These days we hear of “fake news.”  Is this incredibly good news that is being spelled out for us in Romans really real or is it fake and fleeting (like many other things?)  Isaiah 40:8 says:  The grass withers and the flowers fall but the word of our God stands forever.
