One of the reasons that many believers stagnate instead of grow in experiencing God's gifts and blessings is that we lack faith.　 The book of Numbers illustrates that the Israelites lacked the faith needed to enter Canaan.　 Joshua tells of the entry to Canaan and illustrates the faith that was in operation.　 May we live by faith so that we can receive from God what He has in store for us.　 The faith we see illustrated in Joshua is the same kind of practical, walking faith that we can operate in today.
